Take on the adventure of a lifetime with Tour de Taeru—a 7-day cycling experience through Belgium’s Ardennes and Luxembourg’s rugged landscapes. Each stage offers unforgettable views, exhilarating climbs, and a supportive atmosphere.
What to expect?
Test your legs: Tour de Taeru is aimed at cyclists of advanced levels. Each stage will have a time window of one hour within which you can start. You can choose to ride on your own, or to join forces with other riders.
Full support: On the bike you will be joined by two Taeru road captains. Followed by our support van provides supplies and assistance, including a skilled mechanic to keep you rolling smoothly.
Premium training facilities: stay in the new Taeru sports hotel. The facilities include a 25-meter swimming pool, sports hall, bike storage, a bike cleaning space, professional kitchen, and relaxation areas and much more …

Program overview
Every day we provide breakfast, dinner and a post-ride recovery session. Starting window is between 10am and 11am, except for the arrival day – Monday June 30.
On Monday there is an afternoon start and a shorter route to make sure riders can check-in and set up properly.
The final day – Sunday July 6 – ends in the afternoon. Check out is set for the morning, prior to the ride. As everyone will depart in the afternoon, no dinner will be provided.

Meet the CREW
Dirk Baelus is the host and founder of Taeru. Dirk is a passionate triathlete since 2004, 5-times sub-9 hour Ironman finisher, the founder of Innerme, and still racing at the highest Master level.
Bert Flier is the performance coach. Bert is triathlete since 1990, owner of 3in1Sports, 4-time Dutch champion triathlon, and triathlon coach. He still races, and set his marathon PB at 2h38 after turning fifty.
Jo Zwaenepoel is an independent personal coach since 2016 – supporting athletes in a scientific and holistic way. Jo just participated in Ironman Hawaii in 2024 after an age-group win in Ironman Wales 2023.
